Hey everyone,
The time is finally - finally - upon us.
Miss Misery, my second
book, first novel, and bane of my existence for much of the first part of
2005, has been released into bookstores everywhere. And I couldn't be more
excited. Early response has been incredibly nice (check recent issues of
Entertainment Weekly, Jane, Paste, and Harp for proof of that) and my
parents seem to like it, which is always important. It should be in most
bookstores by now - but if you don't see it, be sure to ask for it! I am
dying to hear what you think of it. (Unless you hate it. Then I can
wait.)
The other exciting thing that is fast approaching is my first ever honest-to-goodness book tour! I'll be hitting 10 towns in late January/early February and I hope to meet as many of you as possible. Rest assured, these won't be typical readings - and I'll even have some cool MM-related schwag to pass around. Here are the dates:

If you don't see your city or town listed, don't fret! Just go to your local bookstore and bug them about hosting an event with me. I'm easy and will travel anywhere. And if things go well this time out, I'm going to try and throw together another jaunt in the spring.
Ok, that's it for now. I promise big things coming soon - not the least of which is a new look for this stale website. In the meantime, I highly encourage all of you to visit me on
MySpace, hang out at the messageboards, and watch HBO's The Wire on DVD. Best. Show. Ever.
See you soon . . .
A.
